For Sale: 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle in Burr Ridge, Illinois

Restored by local owner. This is a very nice documented low mile 1972 Chevelle Malibu 2 door Sport Coupe. 3 owners, 49000 miles car with all original body panels except for the correct SS steel hood.

The restoration was beautifully finished in Mulsanne Blue with SS White Stripes and badges. The paint and chrome are in excellent condition.

The engine built by American Speed in Moline Illinois is a GM 355/375HP with Vortec heads, Crane cam, Grant double pumper carb and MSD Ignition. SS sound is complete with powdered coated long tube headers and exhaust system. A Turbo 350 transmission with Transgo shift kit and 3:73 12 bolt positraction rear end complete the drivetrain.

The front disc brake conversion uses taller F body spindles and modified upper control arms for more caster. Boxed rear control arms front and rear sway bars and no-hop bars complete the suspension.

The body panels, chassis, chrome, glass and interior are all original. The wheels are 5 spoke SS style with BF Goodrich TA radials.

This Chevelle SS restoration is documented with original build sheets, Protect-O-Plate, warranty booklet, owners manual and more. It is an outstanding car that will get a lot of attention with its beautiful condition and original body and interior.
