Well preserved X77 Z28.Trim Tag,tranny and rear end analyzed to be original to car by Jerry MacNeish.86,124 original miles according to title and according to previous owner . All original body panels with some light filler in driver fender in two spots.All original glass in excellent condition. Car has factory undercoating and plugs. Still retains some of original paint,stripes are original,Vinyl top original.Firewall still has remnants of original BPT stampings and grease pencil markings underneath firewall paint. Original posi tag still in place. Rubber trunk seal original.All original interior with exception of both bucket seat’s have been recovered, but saved original seat covers. All gauges work and sometimes the clock will too. Key buzzer works.Dash light’s and all exterior lights work. Original radiator with tag still in place.Original brake booster, master cylinder, steering box, wiper motor (wipers work also). Original hood insulation. Matching number transmission and rear end.Block is not original, but is date correct block with November 68 casting date. Does have correct DZ 4053 carburetor (DZ 3923289),correct winters intake(3932472), correct heads(3927186),correct 302/1178 Crank. Currently has headers and magnaflow exhaust. Undercarriage is all original and in fantastic shape.Car has had three owners.Paint is above average driver quality with some of original paint still in place.Still has nice shine and is one of the nicest survivor’s left out there.Has some rust bubbles on lower wheel well in front of rear tires on both sides and on lower passenger fender.Comes with 20 gauge patch panels for those 3 areas.Correct fan (3947772) water pump pulley (39322456), crank pulley(3956668).Original YH coded rally wheels,dated 12/17/68.Very well preserved car with a lot of factory components still original to car.Unfortunately no original papers or protecto plate could be found.
