This is a custom built VW Bus as described below. The price is firm and for a reason.
This clean title VW Bus was born in West Germany in 1977 and was raised in Southern California. She now currently resides at my shop in Memphis, TN.
This van has approximately 1,500 miles on it since I built it. The built 2.0 L engine by JCS Volks Machine, Irwindale, CA, puts out more power than most engines of her vintage. All fuel injection components rebuilt by Fuel Injection Corp., Tracy, CA. All serviceable maintenance items (brakes, bearings, bushings, suspension, steering components, etc) are from JBugs, Oceanside, CA or GoWesty, Los Osos, Ca. Clutch by LuK, Germany. Air conditioning by Gilmore Enterprises, Las Vegas, NV. Custom captain chair configuration by Stofer Customs, San Diego, CA. Leather-Tech interior and new headliner by Lindy’s Auto Upholstery, San Diego, CA. Custom carpet Kit by SewFine, Denver, CO. New Sliding rear windows by Just Kampers. Noise reduction by Road Kill. Keyless entry by Viper. An Alpine media player and 5 channel digital amp powers 4 Infinity component speakers and a 10” Rockford Fosgate sub woofer. The sliding roof is amazing and is fully functional.
This van was built to be driven, reliable and fun. It will turn heads and draw attention every time you drive it. The paint is new and is in excellent condition. There a few minor imperfections however I would have to point them out in order for you to notice. If you lay on your back under the van you may see a flake of yellow here or there showing it’s original color but what you will not see is any rust.
The van will not currently pass CA or NY emissions. However, I will supply the hard to find emissions components required to pass an emissions test. The new owner is responsible for any and all installation and tuning costs.
