Vehicle Description
STK 2720 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle Resto-Mod
When Chevrolet introduced the Chevelle in 1964, it was considered a
mid-sized model. The major difference between the Chevelle and the
Chevy II was the full frame under the Chevelle. This structure was
much more conducive to serious performance upgrades than the
uni-body Chevy II. As a result, a performance legend was born. This
'64 Chevelle was a frame-off restoration (2018) and is a perfect
example of the potential that resides in the early Chevelle models.
Our 2-door post began life as a Series 300-6cyl, but horsepower is
now furnished by a GM350ci TDI-injected small-block that has been
totally rebuilt and looks like a factory installation. The
refreshed internals are basically stock, but it is fitted with
K&N air filter, full-tube stainless headers and free-flowing
exhaust. Our Mouse is mated to a 3-speed TH400 Turbo-Hydramatic
w/B&M shifter that feeds a 10-bolt differential fitted with
street gearing. The spotless chassis is equipped with power
steering, power disc/drum brakes and dual master cylinder. This car
performs beautifully on the street. The stunning two-tone metallic
silver/orange exterior was professionally done and is perfect for
this sedan. Accents include a raised fiberglass hood,
pin-stripping, tinted windows and 17" GM-style rally wheels. An
electronic key fob (with manual back-up release) operates doors
with shaved handles. The restored black vinyl interior includes new
upholstery, a full 'dolphin' gauge package and an AM/FM/CD/XM
stereo system. This stunning Chevelle is a very streetable package
- the classic restro-mod Bowtie for your garage. ALL VEHICLES SOLD
"AS IS".
