The 2012 Audi R8 GT is called the pinnacle of the Audi performance models, and for good reason. It was the first limited production sports car produced by Audi with only 333 units built, and 90 of them coming to the U.S. What we have here is unit number #272. Audi took the 5.2L V10 mated to a 6-speed R tronic sequential transmission and cranked it up to 560hp. And as if the GT wasn’t distinct enough, Kindig-It Designs got their hands on it and created a one-of-its-kind monster. Nothing was overlooked with this build, weight was saved by lighter parts and carbon fiber pieces, the interior is dressed in alcantara flowing with color matched and carbon accents, a Statis Supercharger was mated to the V10 producing an unbelievable 740hp, and the GT was finished in a color that isn’t available to the public, PPG “Bad Ass Tomato.” Subtle, but when it catches your attention you won’t be able to look away, you will go from detail to detail as you start to realize just how special this car is.
