This 1983 Chevy Silverado 2500 (K20) 3/4 Ton Pickup is a very cool
find. It is a lifelong Western truck with 93K original miles and it
is in wonderful condition. It is an original truck with the
exception of the black paint above the pinstripe being painted
because of fading and the silver paint being painted as well. The
truck looks amazing in person. The body on this K20 is super
straight, has no rust or bondo and it appears to have all of the
original sheet metal with the exception of the hood which was
replaced beacuse of hail damage. We found no patchwork anywhere,
which is not a surprise since the owner of this truck maintained it
religiously. The paint is beautiful!! The underside is original and
very clean with only the normal wear and tear you would expect over
the years. The interior is stock and mostly original with the
exception of the updated steering wheel and the trim by the grab
handles. All of the lights, gauges, wipers are working. The horn
was not working and the AC does not blow cold. It has Power
Steering, Power Front Disc Brakes, Power Windows and Locks, and
Tilt Wheel.
The drivetrain on this truck is rock solid. It has the dependable
5.7L V8 Engine that runs excellent and the Automatic Transmission
with OD shifts really nice. Transfer Case is the NP208 and works as
it should with the 4WD. Unsure what the Axle Ratio is at this time.
This truck runs and drives excellent!! When we drove it it was very
smooth and had great power. This would make a great daily driver
for someone or just a weekend truck. We drive what we sell so that
we can give you a first hand and accurate report on how the vehicle
runs and drives. Our pictures are never touched up or photoshopped.
What you see is an accurate representation of the vehicle. We take
consistent pictures and show you everything so you can get a true
representation of the vehicle.
