Rare convertible with windows. Very high quality build that can be
driven anywhere. A big pile of receipts and literature are included
that document the entire build. It cost far more to build. There
are so many little things that cost money that you dont even think
of until reading the receipts.
EXTERIOR: It has a very classic look. Full fendered with a steel
louvered hood, covered running boards, original style headlamps and
chrome grill. I love the fact that it is a convertible Cabriolet
with an excellent fitting top and power windows. A lot of these
cars have lift off tops, side curtains or no windows at all. This
is a Windsor body. Has excellent fit and the body is straight. Has
suicide doors with hidden hinges and open by remote. Trunk lid
raises with a remote power lift. Original style hood opens from
both sides. Running boards are covered so you can actually step on
them. An original grill was rechromed. Power antenna comes out a
tiny hole in the body. The rear valance has recessed license plate
and aluminum gas cap. The paint is Majestic Amethyst with a very
glossy clear coat finish. Really the body and paint are impressive.
The headlights have Ford script, glass lenses but updated with
built in turn signals and halogen bulbs. In back it has LED
teardrop lights and flush mount 3rd brake light. We haven't talked
about the top yet. It is a folding convertible top with black
Haartz cloth and a 3 inch chop. It fits excellent against the power
windows. The windows have an aluminum frame. It has a great stance.
Staggered size aluminum knock off style wheels. 14x6s in front,
15x7s in back with fat tires. This car gets driven regularly but
looks like a show car. They have taken exceptional care of it. Has
a bra to protect the front from chips.
INTERIOR: Completely wrapped in glove soft leather- the seats, door
panels, the dash and armrests. Even the aluminum banjo wheel is
wrapped in leather. It is on a tilting, telescopic column. Has a
billet instrument bezel with Dakota Digital gauges and some really
nice looking A/C vents. Has Vintage Air heat controls. I'm 6 foot
tall and fit comfortably. Both bucket seats are power. Suicide has
safety locks, retractable cup holders, billet pedals and armrests,
Lokar e-brake handle. There is room behind the seat for some
storage. Has premium carpet with matching floor mats. Has Ron
Francis wiring and fuse panel. The convertible top bows are chrome.
Has specialty electric wipers. Has stereo system.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: 93 Corvette LT-1 fuel injected motor by Street
and
Performance. Dressed up with a lot of chrome, stainless and braided
lines. Has a serpentine belt and pulley system. Polished aluminum
Griffin radiator with overflow bottle, stainless radiator hoses and
electric fan. Very neat and tidy the way everything is mounted and
ran. The Bsteering is polished, Vintage heat and air conditioning
system uses a polished compressor. Smooth clean painted
firewall.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Power lift trunk lid operated from in the car or
by remote. It is completely boxed in and upholstered. There's also
a 12 disc CD changer, car cover and bra.
UNDERSIDE: The underside is professionally built and made to look
pretty too. Has Ford frame that has been boxed and powder coated.
Has Mustang II independent front suspension with chrome coil
springs. Flaming River rack & pinion steering. Bottom of the motor
has finned aluminum oil pan. Attached to a 4L60E electronic
overdrive automatic. In back it has Ford 9 inch rear with 4.10 posi
gears. Rear suspension is a Posies parallel leaf springs with new
shocks. The entire exhaust system is polished stainless. Has 2 1/4
inch pipe, Specialties mufflers and tips. Also has a polished
stainless fuel tank and polished lines. Brakes are disc in front
with stainless braided hoses, finned drums in back and stainless
lines. Has power brake booster and dual master under the car. A
custom battery box that can be lowered holds the battery. It has
remote terminals and a cut off switch.
Like I said, this is a turnkey car that is reliable and
comfortable. The elderly man that owned it really enjoyed using it
and it's impressive how nice looking he kept it.
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure
your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do
a walk around video that explains the car's condition in
detail.
