Vehicle Description
This 1928 Ford Sedan Delivery is steel-bodied, low-mileage build
that has one of the largest big block Ford ever made under its
hood. With this kind of power, it's a good thing that this complete
custom also has terrific driver's features like a fully-independent
suspension and four-wheel disc brakes, too. So something this
slick, mean, and well-done really checks all the right boxes.
This is the one to drive when you want attention on the custom car
scene. We all love the look of a sedan delivery turned into a
street rod. Of course, painting the steel body in a bold shade of
blue immediately adds modern flare to this classic appearance. And
as this draws in a crowd, people will be impressed by impossible to
miss details like the custom pinstriping, bright waterfall grille,
and the nicely chopped cab with bright white roof. And the
aggressive forward-leaning stance really draws extra attention to
the monster motor that's nearly overflowing with power out the
sides of the engine bay (more on that in a moment.)
The interior is a tasteful gray and is quite inviting in this
custom build. You have some nice features like two plush velour
bucket seats, a three-speed automatic transmission, and power
windows. Plus, the wood flooring looks good while adding a
practical element to the rear cargo area. And since you already
know this is a powerful machine, so it's nice to have upgrades like
the grippy Grant sports steering wheel, Lokar floor shifter, and a
dash dominated by crisp VDO gauges.
The hood is bolted in place because beneath it is the heart of a
beast. It's not hard to remove the hood, and they also made sure
this one would be ready to show off. That's why this big block has
a tidy setup and plenty of shinning components like the air topper
and Ford Racing valve covers. But what you really want to know is
this custom build utilizes Ford's 460 cubic-inch V8. This big dog
of big blocks even inhales deeply with a Holley four-barrel
carburetor and Offenhauser intake. And the Sanderson headers go
directly to the side pipes to really announce your power
superiority. More than just huge power and thunder, this was built
to run well, and that's why you have good supporting components
like the electric choke, electric fan, and MSD ignition. The custom
chassis is a strong tubular steel setup, and as you check it out in
the undercarriage photos, you can see it was finished to
show-worthy standards. Plus, you'll also spot components you don't
see in many other Model A street machines. This includes the fully
independent suspension, adjustable coilovers at each wheel, and
four-wheel disc brakes (with inboard ones provided by the Jar rear
end.)
Big power, big thunder, and all the right upgrades to handle it all
- this is a well-done big block sedan delivery you need to get your
hands on right now. Call today!!!
