Offered for sale is a Shelby Enterprises built continuation Cobra 427 S/C. This CSX 4000 series Cobra is a one of a kind. To my knowledge, it is the only Cobra built by Shelby Enterprises with a single overhead cam(SHOC) 427 installed in it. The massive power of this awesome engine is transmitted to a TKO600 Ford Road Race 5 speed transmission with 2.87 first to .83 OD final drive. A Lakewood scatter shield covers the lightened billet steel 427 flywheel, Kevlar and 11"Lifetime clutch set. The steel, custom length driveshaft completes the driveline. The wheels are correct with knock off hubs and have Goodyear Billboard racing tires. The interior was upgraded with premium seats, Wilton wool carpeting throughout. A complete set of Shelby correct instrumentation with fuel pressure, oil pressure, water and oil temperature gauges, tachometer and correct reverse speedometer as per original. The dash is signed by Carroll Shelby. This incredible Cobra was built for one of his production employees. I purchased it from the original owner in 2013. The pictures provided will complete the story of this fabulous Cobra.
