In 1968 the Camaro was Chevrolet's answer to the Mustang. GM really
came out strong. With the SS engine option, the hood got chrome
inserts that are meant to replicate velocity stacks.
Under the hood of this SS/RS is a period correct SS 396 350
horsepower L34. Paired with a 4 Speed transmission and upgraded
with Magnaflow exhaust system.
The Matador Red paint code RR and white RS striping look fantastic.
The interior is also highly desirable. The Black & Grey Houndstooth
bucket seats code TR 749 are absolutely mint.
The black soft top is in new condition. The car is additionally
optioned with power steering and power front disc brakes.
Also added with stock look and feel is an AM/FM radio with
Bluetooth and hidden USB & Aux ports.
The RS appearance package includes hidden headlights, revised
taillights with back-up lights under the rear bumper, RS badging,
and exterior bright trim.
The SS performance package includes the larger engine, and chassis
upgrades for better handling and to deal with the additional power.
The RS/SS Camaro features special striping and SS badging.
