Beautifully restored 1967 VW Beetle in excellent condition with factory sunroof, push out rear windows, working AM radio, and new tires. Great driver and fun car. 1967 model was the last year with chrome front and rear bumpers and the first year with 12 volt electrical system and backup lights!!! Perfect entry car to join the ranks of classic car owners! Purchased from West Coast Classic Restoration in Fullerton, California in October 2006. Black matching California license plates included.
A little history...
I’ve owned it since October 2006. I’ve driven it for approximately 1500 miles since then. Prior to that I know that it was in Southern California (Riverside area). I bought it from a dealer from West Coast Classic Restoration in Fullerton, CA. It had been fully restored in the early 2000’s in Southern California. The dealer was familiar with his work. I believe it was originally delivered to a dealership in the San Jose area in late 1966 or early 1967. It had been a California car until it was moved to Utah in 2016 where I currently live. Since I’ve owned it has always been in a garage.
It is all stock parts with no modification except the original seat belts were replaced by seat/shoulder belts in the front seats and lap belts in the back seats. I have the original owners manual.
There is no rust underneath and the the mechanics are in very good shape. It starts quickly and runs well. I installed a new battery in 2019 and can attest to no rust in the battery compartment underneath the back seat and the front footwells. Every time I take it out on the road I get a lot of positive feedback!
