But the best part is we installed a modern LS all aluminum motor with Jenvey ITB's ( fuel injected individual throttle bodies ) which is the same used in European sports cars for years mated to a turbo 350 3 speed automatic transmission with a Ford 9" posi rear end with 3:56 gears. The frame has been correctly boxed and structurally reinforced to handle the extra horse power. The front end is a Super Bell drilled dropped I beam / leaf spring with QA1 shocks and the rear is a Pete & Jakes 4 link with QA1 adjustable coil over shocks. All 4 wheels are American racing rims with Firehawk Indy 500 tires and disc brakes with a dual master cylinder for modern stopping power. The car is equipped with heat and cold AC for those hot days. The interior has quiet ride insulation with pleated red Italian leather seats & door panels and black carpet, The gauges are billet aluminum auto meter classic series and an iconic banjo steering wheel mounted to a stainless steel adjustable steering column.
