1940 Ford Deluxe 5 Window Coupe, This is an AACA senior winner, you won't find a better 1940 all original steel car then this one. The motor has been updated to a later 1949 59A block completely rebuilt to a period correct hopped up Flathead with Edelbrock heads and a very rear numbered Eddie Meyer dual carb intake with two Stromberg 48 carbs that were completely rebuilt. We used a period correct Isky 3/4 race cam, Mallory electronic crab style distributor then added a pair of Fenton cast iron headers and dual exhaust so she has a nice rumble and extra kick to get down the road. We added an electric fan to keep her cool on those hot days. The transmission is the original 3 on the tree which has been rebuilt to specs. The car retains it's original rebuilt rear end and drum brakes but we added a dual master cylinder for safety. We also added an original set of turn signals for safety along with a 12volt conversion.
