RB Collection is very pleased to present this matching-numbers 1968 Corvette Coupe T-Top. This fine Corvette comes to us via a long-term owner – 36 years – who commissioned a cosmetic restoration in 2009.
Beneath the hood rests the original 325/300HP engine, mated to a 4-speed manual gearbox. Under-hood presentation is excellent, appearing tidy and clean with mostly original hardware and fittings, along with signs of regular service. It runs and drives well, with the feel of a car that has covered just 74,250 miles from new. The period correct side pipe exhausts bring to this great car the sound and look of a true American classic.
The Le Mans tone painting presents in excellent condition with a deep gloss and a quality panel fit. Chrome and body fittings are excellent with no dings or blemishes on the bumpers. The black interior presents very well with superior quality upholstery on the seats and door panels, as well as very good black carpeting. The center console features all correct original auxiliary instruments and a modern Radio-Cassette player with a vintage look. The T-Top works perfectly with no issues and is easy to remove and install. The owner’s manual and a small part of the tank sticker are present.
The condition encourages driving and regular use, the best way to properly enjoy this amazing small block. This is an honest and genuine car that is extremely well-presented ready for any show and very fun to drive.
The much-anticipated and now rolling-off-the-assembly-line mid-engine C8 edition of the Chevrolet Corvette is one of those cars considered to be an instant classic. But with the engine now located behind rather than in front of the driver, it should be a good time for even long-time Corvette owners to go back to school. Driving school, […]

But he also grew up with a love of Detroit muscle cars and especially Chevrolet Corvettes. His passion for such muscular machines led to the founding 25 years ago of the Vicari Auction Company, […]

When it comes to vintage American motorcycles, there’s not much cooler than a full-fendered 1947 Indian Chief attached to a full-fendered Indian sidecar. The Pick of the Day is a “Sidecar Chief” in apparently immaculate condition, with matching numbers and coming out of long-term ownership by a committed rider who “sourced and loved and restored […]
I used to love going to Cars and Coffee in Irvine, California. The operative words are “USED TO.” Before his death a few years ago, my friend, Formula 5000, IMSA and Trans-Am champion Tony ‘a2z’ Adamowicz and I would go together and hang out – running into guys like Dan Gurney, Jay Leno and so […]
