1957 Rambler Custom 6 !
Recent award winner, including " Pixar Studios Choice" at the Concours
In '57 the Rambler was its own brand ( not Nash, or AMC ) and the " Custom" was the top of the line trim .
Sporting the correct " Plum" metallic paint , with Black and white accents, this car surely draws a crowd.
The body is very straight and solid! The chrome on this car really jumps out at you, and very hard to find in this type of condition. ( does have 1 cracked glass, but have replacement) A couple blemishes in the paint , minor scratches etc, but still very presentable.
The drivetrain is all factory, and unmodified ( aside from a brake, ignition, and fuel upgrade)
The original Inline 6 cyl engine was rebuilt at some point , 4 speed automatic transmission shifts smoothly, glides down the road.
The interior is original and in very good shape.
Factory reclining bench seat! ( some light fading on the seats, but headliner and carpet are newer)
Original AM radio even works! ( when it wants to)
Car has factory suspension, was slightly lowered but can easily be put back to stock height.
Newer Firestone wide white walls all around, plus spare!
