Vehicle Description
V8 power, an A/C interior, and a cool classic color with plenty of
shine all come together to deliver a 1967 Ford Mustang with all the
right distinction.
Lime Gold is a terrific Mustang color. It's the right shade to fit
in with the 1960s attitude of this early pony car, and at the same
time, it has a bright look you want on an attention-grabbing
classic. There's extra luster from a more modern respray, but when
it comes to shine, the freshly re-dipped chrome front bumper really
puts a nice shining face forward. The '67 cars were given a nice
upgrade in aggression with a longer overhang front & rear, a bolder
side C-channel, and this one's optional deluxe hood. So that seems
like the exact right kind of car that earns the added polished
racing-style Cragar five-star wheels.
For the same reasons why we love the exterior color, we also love
the two-tone interior with green and Ivy Gold. The seats and door
panels have a quality presentation and even the headliner looks
newer. You get the right classic driver's pieces like bucket seats,
proper three-spoke steering wheel, and full gauge package with
speedo and tach. Plus, it has the right upgrades to be a
comfortable machine, like a retro-style AM/FM digital tuner radio,
armrest center console w/cup holders, and cold-blowing R134a air
conditioning.
Ford's 289 cubic-inch motor looks good in the engine bay. And while
Ford would give you this V8 from the factory, upgrades like the
Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and headers
give this a true performance advantage. And that H-pipe dual
exhaust makes a sweet rumble. It's the kind of coupe you're going
to want to take everywhere. That's why it also comes with nice
driving features, like power steering, a three-speed automatic
transmission, power brakes w/discs up front, and newer shocks.
This Mustang has all the right original-style pieces you love, and
all the right upgrades, too. So when a total package classic is
also so nicely priced, you know it won't stay long in our showroom.
