Replace battery & spark plugs
Change oil & filter & lube
Clean out fuel tank & fuel lines
Rebuild carburetors
Replace fuel filter & fuel pump gaskets & hoses
Add fresh fuel, fuel additive & stabilizer
R&I intake manifold & clean manifold
Replace water pump, thermostat & housing, send out radiator for service
Replace radiator hoses & antifreeze
Rebuild brakes, including master cylinder, wheel cylinders all around, front wheel bearings & seals
Re-shoe all brakes & re-cut all drums include replacing all hardware
Replace hood insulation pad
This elegant black and red 1961 Mercedes-Benz 190SL is a 2-3 passenger sports roadster or hardtop coupe. It has a four-cylinder gasoline engine, two soles horizontal compound carburetors, power assets brakes, and includes the owner’s manual, receipts from the restoration, and past services. This highly desirable car has a great history. Recent work included: a new battery, spark plug replacement, brake drums have been re-cut, and the shoes realigned. The wheel cylinders and hardware on the brakes were replaced. The current mileage is 77,520.
