EXTERIOR: Fit and finish is outstanding, I truly mean that. The
body is laser straight, the gaps are all right on the money.
Claimed by the restorer to have original rust free metal. The paint
is polished out like white glass. Every single piece of chrome and
stainless trim is new or restored like new. Every gasket and seal
is new. Front and rear windows look new. Jambs are detailed.
Factory features include GT fog lamps, louvered hood, GT stripes
and tinted glass. Some hot looking upgrades include Shelby scoops
on the 1/4 panels and Eleanor style wheels. Has performance tires
too. It was lowered for a great stance.
INTERIOR: Heater box was apart, restored and blower replaced. Same
meticulous care restoring the interior. It was completely gutted to
a an empty shell. Every single component was restored, even the
ones you can't see. There are pictures showing the inside was
prepped and painted even though you can't see it. The heater box
was restored, new blower. Entire dash restored- gauges, bezels,
knobs, heater controls etc. Has factory tachometer. A very cool
feature is the tilt away deluxe wheel. It tilts and swings away
when the door is opened. Fully restored woodgrained wheel. Has
optional deluxe console with "garage door" and its perfect. Seats
restored from the inside out. Has fold down rear seat. Of course
the upholstery, door panels, armrests, carpet, headliner, visors
are all new. So are the handles, mirror, wiring etc. Everything
works- every light, gauges, radio.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Completely restored and meticulously detailed.
Every single component restored to factory condition. Has all the
correct finishes. Pertronix electronic ignition. Has Comp "Thumper"
cam. Has correct air cleaner, valve covers, hoses, clamps, wires
etc. Detailed in all the correct finishes, has the paint okay
stamps, correct decals. New wiring harness. Has power brakes.
Correct casting codes and dated 390. The motor was professionally
rebuilt. Has a few internal upgrades like electronic Pertronix
ignition and a Thumper cam. Every component rebuilt- alternator,
distributor, new radiator and on and on. This motor compartment is
immaculate, like it hasn't been ran!
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Meticulously restored and detailed. Every inch
of it is clean metal with beautiful paint. Has the rubber mat,
reproduction Firestone tire on a new GT wheel. The tail light
housings, all the wiring and weatherstrip us new. The latches are
detailed.
UNDERSIDE: We have pictures of this car stripped to a bare body and
on a rotisserie. The bottom is completely rust free, spotless
metal. It was carefully painted in the proper finishes just as it
left the factory. Has primered floors with correct oversprays.
Every mechanical component is new or rebuilt. Every component is
meticulously detailed. All new fuel system- tank, sending unit,
lines etc. Correct top loader 4 speed trans. Correct rear end with
new old stock 3.23 posi unit. All new clutch, shift linkage etc.
Newly upgraded Wilwood brake system. Has drilled and slotted rotors
at all four wheels. Has aluminized exhaust with crossover pipe and
Flowmaster mufflers.
This car is restored to a very high standard and the end result is
one incredible car. It is exciting. The look, the sound, the
performance. It's a triple threat!
