1967 Ford Galaxie 500
Why This Vehicle is Special
The Ford Galaxie 500 we have here at Skyway Classics a large sedan
but had sporty lines that make its size look more like an
intermediate and ours in its red and white livery makes a real
classy statement.
Mechanical
Our 500 has a nicely painted and detailed 289 cubic inch engine
with most correct factory parts like the chrome valve covers,
intake, carb, factory cast iron exhaust manifolds, power steering,
power brakes, and air conditioning.
The engine bay is very nicely detailed, complete with bright Ford
Blue on the engine and air cleaner, and the overall condition leads
us to believe that it has been expertly maintained over the years.
It is backed by a 3-speed automatic transmission and rides on
chrome wheels and white wall tires.
Interior
When you look at the red and white vinyl split front bench seat
interior it is in a fantastic redone condition. The upholstery is
stunning and plush, the factory gauges are in great looking and
there are accessory gauges under the dash, the factory A/C is cold,
and the rear has plenty of leg room.
The carpet and floor mats are red as well as the door panel but
they have a white bottom on them. The trunk is very well restored
with a full-sized spare tire and grey carpet too. Exterior
Our Galaxie has great red paint on the body with a white top on the
body which has great trim and styling, great looking center grille,
great chrome and stainless trim, rear antennae, Galaxie 500
emblems, and chrome front and rear bumpers.
The 500 sounds nice flowing through the dual exhaust system with
turbo type mufflers and chrome tips.
Conclusion The Ford Galaxie 500 we have here at Skyway Classics is
an awesome entry-level hobby car that has a combination of style
and ride and looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor.
