We're excited to offer this gorgeous restomod that doesn't just
have good looks, it's got muscle to back up the looks. Inside the
car is a well thought out custom interior with a high class finish.
This true split window features a whole host of custom features all
neatly integrated to create a showstopping classic Vette. The
familiar curves of the 2nd Generation Corvette are covered in
glossy Black paint. The paint and bodywork shows extremely well.
Body panels line up as they should, and the glossy black paint has
that nice wet extremely glossy look. As if the curves and angles of
a stock C2 Corvette aren't pleasing enough, this car wears 2 inch
rear quarter flares. These are helpful in making sure the Billet
Specialties wheels have plenty of room for travel in the rear
fenders. Besides the bright, polished wheels, your eyes are drawn
to the side pipes are great accents to the extremely tidy exterior.
New chrome trim and chrome bumpers finish off the clean look of
this vintage Vette. Before taking a really close look at the
interior, at a quick glance it's apparent that the interior is
finished with top quality materials. Supportive bucket seats are
finished in the same leather trim as the dashboard, door panels,
and rear cargo area. A center mounted Boost gauge takes the place
of the original vertically mounted radio - you and your passengers
don't have to rely on the seat of the pants measure of boost.
Although the seat of the pants measure of boost and power is what
it's all about. An array of Auto Meter Silver face gauges keep a
silver theme, together with the billet shifter, billet vents, and
silver accent lines on the door panels. The vintage Air control
unit is mounted high on the dashboard, while a Generation 4 a/c
system was used because it sits higher in the dashboard so it
doesn't encroach on passenger foot space like the more common C2
system does. The build quality of the interior is top notch, and
has a exotic European GT coupe feel. Beneath the hood is a LS3 V8
with a Magnuson Supercharger perched on top. The engine bay and all
components within are extremely clean, with many polished
components. What started out as just a 525 horsepower LS3 was sent
straight to Lingenfelter for ported cylinder heads and supercharger
camshaft. Gear selection is handled by a Tremec TKO600 5-speed
manual transmission with a Lokar shifter. A hydraulic clutch makes
shifting through the gears a little more manageable. Long tube
headers snake out of the engine bay under the fenders, and
culminate in polished side pipes with muffler inserts on each side.
The engine produces approximately 700 horsepower according to a
dyno test done after the build was completed. Wilwood brakes on all
four corners give the car much needed stopping power, and an
aluminum driveshaft helps transfer power to the rear end. Beneath
the sleek body is a Street Shop powder coated chassis with C4
Corvette suspension. Custom control arms and rear housing truss
intermingle with QA1 coilovers. 18 front and 19 rear Billet
specialties wheels wrapped in sticky Kumho tires do their best to
keep the power on the pavement, and the car in a straight
trajectory. This split window Vette is an absolutely jaw dropping
ride. This car has a lot going for it from the clean exterior,
modern high powered power plant, custom interior and suspension, to
the price tag that is much less than what it would cost to build a
