Stunning 1971 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40. This FJ40 is still equipped with its original F engine mated to its original 3-speed manual column-mounted transmission and manually locking hubs. The engine has been fitted with a Holley carb and the engine runs smoothly. The truck is a rare US-spec model and not a South American Import. A roll cage and upgraded jump seats are present as the previous owner used the car to take his kids to school and wanted safety equipment. It rides on original restored 15” steel wheels with polished center caps mounted on recently installed 31-inch tires with plenty of tread left.
The 5-digit odometer is in MPH and reads 74,160 miles. The odometer is still functioning but true mileage is unknown. All of the gauges function properly along with the turn signals, brake lights, and headlights. The original seats have been recovered in NOS black vinyl within the last 3 years and present well. The truck has traveled less than 1,000 miles in the last 3 years and runs and drives as it should. In preparation for sale the fuel system, brakes, and steering system have been serviced and new dash pads fitted and the truck comes with receipts totaling over 1,500 dollars in recent work.
