2 Owner, All Original, Museum Quality Restoration with only 1200 Miles!
Owner 1: Donald Herson of North Chicago, IL. He was a volunteer Fire Fighter and worked full time for the Waukegan News Sun and was also member of the Jaycees. He had a passion for antique and classic cars. He participated in the Great American Race. A cross country road rally, He was able to race this event for 3 years. In 1957 he purchased this car new and had it restored prior to his passing in 2011.
The car was then placed in a trust and was featured for sale at the VOLO Auto Museum in Volo, IL.
Owner 2: The car was purchased from the Volo Auto Museum in September 2013 by Joe Labretto a retired former Chevrolet Dealer from Cape Cod MA and now residing in Wolfeboro, NH. The car was carefully cared for and always stored in a climate controlled garage with only 940 miles on the odometer since the complete restoration. It is now a rare piece of American Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible History!
It has a New Hampshire title with odometer exempt due to the age of the vehicle.
This meticulously body off frame restoration is in extraordinary condition with a laser straight body, with the floors painted in red oxide. Body panels are all original!
