1957 Ford Thunderbird For Sale - Flame Red Exterior Paint W/ Flame
Red Interior LMC is very proud to offer for sale this 1957 Ford
Thunderbird Ford was ultimately compelled into the two-seater
sports-car craze by the Corvette. The Thunderbird was the perfect
car to compete in the newly created two-seater marketplace. Sold to
the American buyer as an upscale personal sports car, this sporty
new convertible was designed to be comfortable and convenient with
an emphasis on luxury. The Thunderbird became a wildly instant
success and outsold the Corvette by a shocking 23-to-1 ratio in its
amazing first production year. This '57 Thunderbird is a
culmination of everything learned over three years of producing
Ford two-seaters, and it presents in absolutely stunning fashion.
The Thunderbird offered here for sale was sold to its first owner
by Hollywood Motors Inc. in Hollywood, California on August 14th,
1957 and lived the majority of its life on the West coast. This
beautifully restored 1957 model Thunderbird is presented in a
stunning Flame Red exterior complemented by a Flame Red interior
and Tan convertible soft top. It is powered by a 312 cu in V8
engine with optional Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission. This
beautiful car also features many factory options sought after on
early Thunderbirds including thunderbird engine dress up kit,
tinted glass, rear fender skirts, Town and Country radio, action
wipers, power steering, power brakes, power windows, and padded
dash. During the car's ownership under a Classic Thunderbird Club
Certified Master III Judge, it was beautifully restored, complete
with show quality paint that has been wet sanded and polished to
glass like reflection. The engine bay has been detailed to OEM
specifications and presents beautifully. To finish off the gorgeous
restoration is a set of Kelsey Hayes wire wheel covers with radial
wide whitewall tires. This Thunderbird is finished in a timeless
color combination is sure to grab some attention on the road. It
has been beautifully restored and would do as well at the local
show as on the road. It also comes documented with dealer invoice,
owner's manual, restoration parts receipts, and much more. A very
