CPR Classic is delighted to offer this impeccable1974 Porsche 911 US Carrera that is the true definition of a time capsule.

This US Carrera was an early 1974 example that was optioned in Grand Prix white over a Russet interior and is kitted from the factory with the seldom-seen "Gilded" stripe package.

This US Carrera is one of the most original 911s we have ever seen. The car has traveled just 35,000 miles throughout its life, and it is evident that it has lived with meticulous owners since new. Recently acquired from an extensive Southern California Porsche collection, this US Carrera is one of the most original, low mileage examples CPR has ever had the luck to come across.

The car arrived to us in untouched, totally original condition including all exterior paint, complete original interior, and powertrain, which we believe had never been removed from the car. Once the vehicle arrived, CPR performed a full service addressing all items that needed attention due to the car's long-term stay in a collection, being driven sparingly.

Cosmetically, we chose to repaint the front lower valance and rocker moldings on the car due to rock chips. The rest of the exterior paint remains wholly original and registers on a paint meter between 3-6.5 mils everywhere. A light color-sand and buff was performed to remove surface scratches, and the "911" stripe on the hood was replaced due to the original having faded extensively.

This US Carrera's interior is likely the nicest original interior we have ever encountered on a vintage 911. Every piece of material to include carpet and headliner is original and in concours preserved condition. The seat bolsters show virtually no stretching, and the seat padding is as if the seats were hardly ever used. The Russet red contrasts beautifully on the Grand Prix white exterior, and makes the cabin of the car an inviting time capsule of a place to be.

This car took our breath away when we first saw it. The preservation is incredible, and the unusual gilded stripe package the car wears is a beautiful, unique flare of the time period that is rarely seen today. If you are in the market for a perfect original US Carrera, or a 911 that will compete to win in any preservation class it enters, this is a must consider example.
