For Sale: 1973 Porsche 911 in Fallbrook, California

CPR Classic's latest offering is this stunning 1973 911T Coupe finished in its factory-correct color combination of Aubergine over a black interior. This is a beautifully restored example completed by a private restorer in the Northern California area earlier this year.

This 911T underwent a full disassembly prior to going out for metalwork and paint. At this time, a steel S bumper was added to the build. The car's paintwork is spectacular throughout and close to the level of our CPR-certified restorations. The fully-restored undercarriage has fresh undercoating and proper paintwork.

A 2.4-liter 911E MFI engine is currently installed in the car, and the numbers-matching engine is included with the sale of the vehicle. The original engine can be rebuilt to desired specifications and reinstalled in the car if the new owner prefers. The 915 gearbox is restored to the same high level with new dog teeth, new synchros, new seals, new bearings, and new gaskets.

Preferred upgrades include aftermarket hollow torsion bars, Euro Carrera MFI aluminum trailing arms, Elephant Racing suspension bushings, Turbo tie rods, Bilstein HD dampers, 15mm front anti-roll bar and pair of stainless steel heat exchangers.

Upon arrival at CPR Classic, the car was thoroughly sorted, addressing minor items such as hood adjustment, MFI tune, new Dansk exhaust, and electrical sorting followed by a meticulous detail. The car is now a fully sorted, turn-key example that is ready to be shown or driven for many worry-free miles to come.

Long-hood 911s offer near-modern performance and ergonomics in a small, agile package. This example has been finished to a very high level, and Aubergine is one of the most desirable colors for early 911s.
