CPR Classic is delighted to offer this charming 1972 Porsche 911T
Targa finished in its correct factory color combination of
Tangerine over a black leatherette interior. This example is in
highly preserved condition throughout retaining all original metal
and partial original paint.
This 911 T is all numbers matching, including color combination,
engine, gearbox, and options.
The odometer shows 53,000 miles, which we believe is the car's
actual original mileage. This 911T's most recent owner purchased
the car in the early 1990s and drove the car about 10,000 miles
over the following 30 years in fair weather to ensure the car
remained in a lovely preserved condition during his ownership.
The car's paint measures as near all original. Every panel on the
vehicle reads between 3.5-7 mils except for a small area on the
driver side rear quarter panel where there is evidence of a small
blend, with the paint measuring as thick as 9 mils in that
area.
Upon arrival at CPR, this Targa underwent a complete
bumper-to-bumper inspection, during which we addressed a few small
items we found that needed attention. The car also received a full
service, including all fluids, an MFI tune, and fresh
batteries.
Porsche factory Tangerine is one of the most desirable colors to be
found on an early 911, and this example being a 1972 model makes it
all the more desirable. If you are in the market for a highly
preserved, turn-key long-hood 911 Targa, this is a must-see and
must drive example.
