This numbers matching 1963 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport convertible had a full body off restoration that was completed in 1993-94 after being in storage since 1977. Every effort was made to restore the car as close to original as possible with acrylic lacquer paint and using NOS parts/ accessories. The only reproduction parts include the interior, correct date stamped Gelcell battery, Coker Classic tires, T3 headlights, stainless steel exhaust and resonators. The car was originally assembled in the Van Nuys, California plant in the first week of December 1962 matching the restoration with Tuxedo Black paint, black interior, SS trim and a white convertible top as per the cowl tag. The car is equipped with a 327 cuin V8 engine having 250 hp and a 2 speed powerglide transmission. The car was trailered and shown at many events including a Late Great Chevy show in Council Bluffs, July 1999 where the car achieved a score of 998 out of 1000, the highest for any LGC show to that date. After that show the car remained locked in the trailer until it was sold and acquired by me in 2010. This car remains in exceptional Number 1 condition with everything functional. Since my purchase of the car the hydraulic pump and rams for the top have been replaced along with the gas tank.
