Vehicle Description
Three-owner car when restored over 30 years ago. Documentation of
ownership history through third owner, and receipts in a bound
notebook. Restored in the 1980s to all original specs. Mostly
stored since restoration with a few shows and occasional drives. It
received new whitewall tires in 2018, new chrome in 2019 and the
engine was overhauled in August 2016, with less than 50 miles on
the engine since the overhaul; features an electric fuel pump. Runs
and drives well. The 1939 Packard Six 1700 2 door coupe was powered
by an L-head 6-cylinder engine that displaced 245ci. It had a
3-speed selective synchromesh manual transmission with
column-mounted gearshift controls and a single-plate clutch. The
wheelbase measures 122 inches.
