".38 Special" is custom-built and assembled by Kugel Komponents.
The exterior features PPG Hot Hues Champagne two-tone paint. This
all-steel full custom roadster had its belt line extended 2 inches
and has laid-back A-pillars to match the revised headlamp angle,
rear quarters extended 8 inches, with lower quarters extended 2
inches. It has a shaved convertible/cabriolet top. The window
openings, latches and all exterior trim were handcrafted from
brass. Power is provided by a Redline Performance GM LS3
fuel-injected V8 engine paired with a 4L60E automatic overdrive
transmission. It rides on a Kugel Komponents custom modified TCI
chassis with a polished and plated fully independent front and rear
suspension, RideTech air-ride control, power rack & pinion
steering, and power Wilwood disc brakes. Full custom and modified
interior with Toyota Supra quad bucket seats that features two-tone
leather, front to rear flowing center console, multiple one-off
interior trim spears, .38 Special emblems handcrafted from brass,
1940 Ford dash and modified gauge cluster. It also features Vintage
Air, heated seats, tilt column with a banjo steering wheel and a
Pioneer audio system. This Ford rides on Billet Specialties GTO
wheels.
