Well it's hard for us old farts to believe the Fox body mustangs
are now collectible antiques. It wasn't that long ago that the
1960s mustangs were second hand cars that you bought your teenager
and never would have wanted to own yourself :-).
Now is the time to buy a good clean Fox body. They made millions of
the cars so the parts will always be plentiful, but a clean,
unmolested example is already hard to find. If you don't get a good
one today in a few years you'll be talking about how cheap they
were back in 2019. They are good performers and very easy to live
with cars. The fuel injected V8 models with the 5-speed
transmission and disc brakes are good performers, good
long-distance cars and good cruisers. Performance upgrade options
are almost unlimited.
This 1990 convertible is equipped with we fuel injected 5.0 and a
smooth shifting 5-speed transmission. It has a power top, power
driver's seat and power windows.
The body is very straight and wears its original paint in good
condition. There are a few small door dings. The body is rust free
with the exception of an area inside the trunk above the tail
lights and trunk lid shut seam.
It has a new power top with the glass rear window. Power top
feature works just as it should. The interior is very clean and
presentable for a 30 year old Mustang. The dash is in excellent
condition without any cracks and there are no tears in the
upholstery.
