This GTO is virtually new with under 500 miles, and is stored in a heated garage. Interior still has the original new car scent and is blemish free. This GTO was just purchased from one owner and currently, all of the miles but 20 were put on by the original owner. No accidents, no dents and no blemishes to the ceramic coated paint.
This is a Barbados Blue GTO with an optional 6 speed manual, which is the rarest color of all the new age GTO's from 2004-2006. Barbados Blue was offered only in 2004 and discontinued for 2005-2006.
****Out of 40,757 total GTO's made by Pontiac's Performance division Holden, approximately 271 were of this color/ manual configuration. Add to this, the numbers of miles on the odometer, and this may be the " Lowest mile", "lowest number" GTO, of the 2004-2006 GTO's in existence. This car qualifies as a Specialty Car for insurance purposes today, and in 2024, will have 20 years behind her, thus qualifying for Classic Car status depending on its residing state.
The engine and bay presents as brand new. All stickers and labels are clean as new and the Barbados blue color can be seen on the strut towers, hood throughout the bay dirt free. The inscribed "GTO" on each of the valve covers are clean and flawless. The trunk also shows as brand new.
The Gen 3 LS 1 engine is amazingly powerful and the sound was intentionally worked on by Pontiac / Holden, to mimick the sound of the mid 60's GTO. Over 50 exhaust configurations were tested to accomplish this. The dual polished chrome tail pipes exiting the rear, are the end product of a true dual exhaust system.
The undercarriage is super clean as well. Every line, bracket, brake system, oil pan, suspension, transmission, etc. shows as dirt free.
The ride, handling, and shifting works today just as it did in 2004.
Inside, the 10 speaker 200 watt car stereo is clear with excellent tone and all interior functions are fully operational. The car just went through a multi-point inspection that was posted on YouTube, 12/9/2019. The seats, carpet and headliner show absolutely no wear as can be seen in the posted pictures. All of the drivers contact points are leather. The dash, has no marks or scraping.
Happy to answer questions for a serious buyer.
