2015 Ford Mustang Roush
Roush Enterprises, founded by Jack Roush, is the parent company for
Roush Racing as well as Roush Industries, a freelance engineering
firm; Roush Performance, an automotive aftermarket development
company; and ROUSH CleanTech, a manufacturer of propane autogas
fuel systems, all headquartered in Livonia, Michigan. His companies
employ more than 2,000 people throughout North America and Europe.
Rarely seen without his trademark Panama hat, Roush is known on the
NASCAR circuit as "The Cat in the Hat".

Exterior
Sporting the R7 aerodynamic package which includes a unique front
fascia with integrated aero pockets, a 5 blade upper grille, high
flow lower grille and fog lights, a chin spoiler deeper reaching
side sills, a rear diffuser and a one piece deckled spoiler the
Empire will strike back at about moment. Throw on some 20-inch
black 5 spokes all around and the look is now complete.
Interior
A nice blending of black and brushed aluminum accenting peppered
with plenty of digital touch buttons make up the controls of this
car. Cloth covers the racing inspired bucket seats, and shows in
good condition with a few marks on the front drivers bucket. The
rear 2 plus 2 seats are as grabby as the exterior rubber, and
appear clean with not much use logged on them. The dash reminiscent
of those that came before, has dual deep set circular gauges and a
central digital display. A wrapping of carbon fiber creates the
background for the dash. The steering wheel has plenty of buttons
to distract you for the radio, cruise, and phone hookups. Black
carpet floods the floors and is very clean and a nice headliner
floats above.
Drivetrain
A 3.7 Liter V6 is under the hood and with EFI and detailed PCM
calibration for 91 octane fuel, it will produce 300HP. Couple this
with a 6R80 6-speed automatic transmission, and a 3.15 rear axle,
and we are ready to go into hyperspace.
Undercarriage
All sound, all black, no rust and looking very clean. The
independent McPherson strut suspension is on front, and independent
integral link with a stabilizer bar rear suspension is seen. Power
disc brakes for all 4 corners, and an original 2.5 inch stainless
steel exhaust system is on this car.
Drive-Ability
Climbing aboard this rocket ship I'm grabbed by the buckets, and
begged to close the door with the warning sound. The candles lit
right up, and I was off to the test track. This car performed
beautifully, and cornered well, has good healthy acceleration for a
V6, and also will cruise nicely at very low RPM's with the 6-speed
tranny.
A very clean all kept example of the Roush inspired Mustang. It has
a Cold Air Kit installed, and with the tuning for 91 octane fuel,
throttle mapping, and a finely tuned camshaft, we have the power of
the force with you. Grab your light saber and climb in we are on
the hunt for the Jedi.
