Vehicle Description
1965 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible - Numbers Matching 327ci/350hp
V8 - Original Nassau Blue (code F) Paint - Originally delivered to
Thomas Chevrolet in Bridgewater, MA - Local Corvette Collection,
owned since 1975 (second owner) - Collector Grade Mid-Year (Please

photographs of this car are not presented due to website

local Corvette enthusiast and collector is reassuring in knowing
that the car has been well maintained. NCRS paperwork shows that
the car was originally delivered to Thomas Chevrolet of Bridgewater
Massachusetts, and the car was produced April 30th of 1965. This
2nd Gen Vette is finished in Nassau Blue, which matches the 'F'
color code on the trim tag. It has a clean Black vinyl (STD)
interior with a black soft top. Standard wheels featuring
knockoffs, and side pipes add to the sporty look of this iconic
American Sports Car. A Hurst shifter has been installed in the car
and makes an awesome centerpiece in the otherwise stock interior.
Crystal Clear gauges, Delco AM/FM Radio, and upholstery that is in
great condition are other highlights. The numbers matching 327ci V8
mated to a 4-speed manual transmission is rated at 350 horsepower
from the factory and it's quite possible that this car has a few
more ponies now. In mid-2017 the engine was pulled in order to do a
proper overhaul. During the overhaul a number of new parts were
installed by a reputable shop: CompCam, high performance pistons,
bearings, rocker arms, timing set, lifters, oil pump, thermostat,
alternator, starter, spark plugs/wires, radiator hoses, clutch,
flywheel, a number of ARP bolts, and a whole slew of new gaskets
throughout. '65 was the biggest sales year for Corvette yet, and we
can see why. Awesome styling, comfortable interior, and a number of
great engine options - all of which provided plenty of power and
great sound. The popularity of the Corvette holds true today -
whether brand new or vintage, the desire for a car bearing the
Corvette badge is high. Be sure to check out all the photos and
