1951 Military surplus Willys M-38 Fire Chief's jeep, runs well and drives well; a real head turner in parades. Even siren and emergency lights work! Newly rebuilt inline 4 cylinder 134 c.i.d motor, 3 speed trans (2nd & 3rd synchromesh). Paid $10,000, invested over $4K on additional restoration, including newly rebuilt motor with only 2 miles on it, all new leaf springs, new gauges, 5 new tires (BFG), rebuilt front end. Floorpans solid, only noticeable leak from gearbox, although vehicle shifts well. Would consider trade for '04-'06 Jeep TJ. Every effort has been made to keep vehicle OEM.
