Why This Car Is Special
We have a stunning 1957 Buick Super Hardtop here at Skyway Classics
that looks, drives, and feels just like it did back in 1957! It
also has a ton of original paper work that you can check out in the
photo section.
Mechanical
Our 57 has the 364 cubic inch Buick "Nailhead" V-8 engine in it
that is painted in the correct shade of Buick blue and has all
original components like the snorkel type air cleaner, valve
covers, Automatic Transmission, Power Steering and Power Brakes,
and all sitting in the very clean, detailed engine compartment.
Interior
The interior looks opulent like they were back in the Fifties with
its Two-tone Black & White Upholstered Nylon/Cordaveen Combo split
bench front seat and matching rear, factory black and chrome
steering wheel, black and white painted dash with factory
instrumentation, matching door panels and headliner, with Tinted
Glass and even the Factory Radio.
Exterior
You can see in the pictures that our Buick has a Black and White
Super good looking paint job with the trademark four VentiPorts
that were used on each front fender, real Buick factory wire wheels
& Wide Whitewalls, great bumpers, chrome, trim, and even factory
tinted windows.
Supers had a group of three Chevrons on each rear quarter or door
for series identification as well as badging that told everyone you
were driving a "Super."
Conclusion
The 1957 Buick Super Hardtop we have here at Skyway Classics is a
rare and very beautiful car. It is the center of attention at most
car shows and it will be a conversation piece wherever you drive it
to. I have driven this Buick and I was amazed how it rode and
handled and I wouldn't be afraid to even drive it across the
USA.
