Vehicle Description
STK 2703 1985 Mercedes Benz 300CD
The Mercedes 300CD is a coupe of the popular W123 series of
Mercedes Benz executive cars. Built from 1975 through 1986, the
models of this series were a pillar of sales for Mercedes in the
era. This 1985 300CD spent most of its life in Florida/California
before arriving in North Carolina three years ago. It received a
250,000 kilometers Mileage Certificate in 2016 from the Mercedes
Benz Classic Center, Irvine, CA. The 300CD has been recently
restored and is an outstanding example of the classic coupe. A
professional re-spray of Anthracite Grey (2017) is in excellent
condition, chrome and stainless are spotless and factory Bundt 14"
alloy wheels w/Michelin radial tires provide a classic accent. The
restored Palomino MB-Tex upholstery looks better than new. This
Mercedes has many convenience features including center console
w/wood trim, dash, climate-control air conditioning, power tinted
windows, power sunroof, cruise control, power locks and a Kenwood
KDC-X303 AM/FM/CD stereo system (original Becker Grand Prix AM/FM
radio included in the sale). The coupe is powered by the Mercedes
OM617 5-cylinder Turbo Diesel. It is a 3.0L, SOHC (chain drive)
design that produces 123bhp/178lb/ft of torque and is virtually
indestructible. This engine utilizes Bosch injection and delivers
power through a four-speed automatic transmission to a RWD
differential. The chassis is equipped with power steering and power
4-wheel disc brakes (new rear calipers and torque shaft boots). The
car is being sold with a clean Carfax, factory tools, custom car
cover and NC title. This very appealing 300CD coupe will move
quickly. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
