For Sale at Auction: 1931 Ford Model AA in Scottsdale, Arizona

This 1931 Ford Mode AA postal delivery truck is powered by a 200ci inline-4 engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. The truck was cosmetically and mechanically restored and underwent a full ground-up restoration. The chassis and mechanicals were gone through and the AA features news bearings braces, gears, seals, gaskets, springs, joints and fasteners. The engine, transmission and rear end all underwent a full rebuild as well. The wooden cargo box has been meticulously reproduced and built to the original 200-cubic-foot specifications. Top-grade oak and poplar woods were handpicked from a specialty hardwood lumber supplier. All pieces were fastidiously dismantled, tagged and labeled with original components, as well as post office drawings being used as benchmarks to match the exact length and depth of the cargo area. The correct U.S. Military Olive Green was used for the cargo area, while the truck is finished in black. The no-expense-spared restoration took place over a 3-year period.
