Vehicle Description
This 1958 Resto-Mod/Pro-Touring-style Corvette was professionally
built with a new 6.2-liter LT1 direct-injected Corvette engine with
460hp, 465 ft/lbs of torque and 4L70E automatic transmission. The
Corvette has a custom chassis with C7 Corvette front suspension and
independent C4 rear suspension. The front suspension has completely
adjustable coilovers. The rear suspension keeps the 1996 Corvette
rear spring for great ride quality. The frame was powder-coated red
to accent the interior. The 'Vette has big Wilwood brakes with
6-piston front & 4 piston rear calipers. It rides on 18-inch Budnik
Crown wheels & shaved Toyo tires with added whitewalls for a custom
look. It also has power rack & pinion steering, a Tanks Inc. fuel
system, GM wiring harness and factory-programmed computer. The body
was completely stripped down before being finished in Jet Black
with silver coves in a High Solids Clear that has been buffed to
perfection. The interior was finished with red leather throughout.
The same attention to detail was performed on the bottom side of
the car, which was painted with a durable black Raptor Coating. All
body gaps are excellent, body panels are laser-straight, and the
fit and finish is excellent. It has a new stereo system featuring
Bluetooth, amplifier, subwoofer and four speakers. It has a Vintage
Air heat and air conditioning system. Custom Dakota Digital gauges
were created for the build that allow the use of an Ididit Tilt
steering column combined with Al Knoch AOK seats gives much more
comfort in the tight C1 interior. The convertible top was restored
and finished with a black canvas top. This custom 'Vette has only
test miles on the build and comes with instruction manuals and
pictures of the entire build.
