Vehicle Description
This 1979 Ford F250 is a ranger XLT and another clean truck from
the Pacific NW. The last owner has owned this truck since 1981. He
was the owner of a logging company and used the truck to go between
job-sites back in the day. He always kept the truck well maintained
and he always kept it stored inside. This truck is an XLT Ranger so
it has the nice 2 Tone Paint Job with the extra trim. This is a
very original and unmolested truck and it runs and drives
excellent! The body on this truck is really nice and super
straight. It was repainted in it's original colors of Coral and
Wimbledon White some years ago and it was a very nice and
professional paint job. They put the original moldings back on the
truck and they are all still in really nice condition. The
underside is very clean and original. We found no evidence of rust
or rust repair on this truck. Just a good, clean, solid, and great
looking truck! The interior is mostly original and it looks
amazing. The radio was replaced, but everything else appears
original and is really nice. Hard to believe, but obviously this
truck has been babied.
The engine is a Jasper 460 V8 and we were told it has around 5,000
miles on it. We did not receive the receipts, but we it does have
the Jasper Tag on the block. It is easy to see the engine is newer
and it runs excellent with no red flags. It runs smooth with lots
of power, The engine has an aluminum intake and edelbrock carb.
Transmission is the C6 Automatic that shifts perfect and the last
owner did state it was rebuilt as well. Transfer Case is the NP203
and the 4WD system is working. Front Axle is a Dana 44 with 4.10
Gears and Rear Axle is a Dana 60 Limited Slip with 4.10 Gears. All
lights, blinkers, gauges are working and the truck drives really
nice. This truck sets on a new set of Pro Comp Rims as well!!!
