two owner 1988 Ford Mustang GT Convertible for sale from a very
exclusive private collection. This 5.0 Mustang was purchased new on
May 7, 1988 at Fulton Ford of Canal Fulton, OH. The car came
attractively dressed in Scarlet Red exterior with two-tone Scarlet
Red and White interior with white convertible top. The car is
powered by the legendary 5.0 liter EFI High Output V8 engine hooked
to the desirable 5 speed manual transmission and applied by its
Traction-Lock rear axle. Standard performance equipment includes:
Power Rack-and-Pinion Steering with 15:1 Ratio, a Handling Package
which includes: variable rate springs, gas pressurized struts and
shocks, and "Quadra Shock" rear suspension. Also standard are power
front disc brakes, 15 inch wheels cast aluminum wheels and tires,
power convertible top, aero halogen headlamps, air dam with
integrated fog lamps, tinted glass, tilt steering wheel, full
instrumentation including: 7000 RPM tachometer, temp gauge,
voltmeter, oil pressure gauge and trip odometer.
Optional equipment fitted to this Mustang includes: air
conditioning, power windows, power locks, automatic speed control,
leather sport seats, premium sound system, white convertible top
and lower titanium accent paint.
Today, at just over 12k original miles, this 1980's legend remains
in excellent original condition in all areas. The car has been
always kept inside when not in use and as a result, the original
paint remains wonderful original condition, the original white
leather seats are still supple, the red carpeting remains very
clean and fresh.
