VINTAGE INTERNATIONAL SHOW CAR
This is a 70s era extremely high profile original not catalog built, its the real deal. The build focuses on using virtually a variety of years of Ford parts which are very tastefully chromed, painted with Candy colors, upholstered and assembled. The car was built
strictly for International Car Show circuit. Has window stickers and decals as International show car circuit participant. In 2011 the
27 T Coupe began going through the process to becoming a drivable street car instead of nothing but
show car that was shown tilted up with mirrors to display all the chrome, gold plating, custom painted frame work
or sitting in climate controlled show rooms.
Upgrades beginning in 2011 were focused on maintaining its original
image and not updating to today's aftermarket parts. Anything done in 2011 will have date behind statement of work
FRAME, SUSPENSION and BRAKES:

● Steering box is Corvair type. Cast iron all bearings and no bushings mfg by Flaming River.

the frame rail. Output Shaft is supported in addition by a firm mounted 1 1/8”surface bearing

Engine, Fuel and Drive Train
● 1967 Cobra 289 Engine with “O” ringed block.
● Gauges are from original 1967 Shelby Cobra 289 and mileage is true

● Removed cast iron heads and installed aluminum heads, removed cragar 6-71 blower, or MIA. since 2011
● (2) 450 CFM Holley carburetor tuned for blower and blower solid lift cams cams
● Tunnel ram with custom engraving to accent engine parts
● Shorty Stainless Steel headers with chrome exhaust all the way to exit
● Removed Moon 2 gallon keg and had Custom Stainless Steel fuel tank built to add ability to
travel longer distances by Gibson Welding in Destin, Fl. The Tank has baffles and properly set
Fuel Sending unit countersunk into tank, tank sump, Fuel vent to outside of the car with
baffles and drain to fuel when putting in a showroom or storing car for long periods of time.
