has been called "The Winningest 427 Cobra." It was campaigned in
1965 under the sponsorship of Essex Wire, Ford Motor Company's

including the paint scheme. Just like the original, the frame is
constructed using 4-inch round tube main rails. The 90-inch
wheelbase carries a 4-wheel independent suspension with dual A-arms
and coilover shocks. The original look is maintained with the
15-inch Halibrand-style pin drive wheels, original style roll bar,
and steel headers and side pipes. A large aluminum radiator, rack &
pinion steering and Salisbury-style differential are standard
features. The interior boasts of original gauges and an
original-style 15-inch wood steering wheel. CSX6149 was built with
an aluminum 468FE engine and mated to a TREMEC TKO 5-speed manual
transmission. Has original-style headlights, aluminum oil cooler,
radiator and stainless fuel tank. It also features a ceramic-coated
