This 1972 Chevrolet K10 Super Cheyenne is a 4x4 with a powerful V8,
a nice A/C interior, and it's rendered in a slick modern paint. So
it's the weekend friend that helps with the chores on Saturdays,
hits the town in the evening, and then makes the scene at the
Sunday car show: truly the vintage ride that can do it all.
That modern blue respray was done just a few years ago, and it does
this truck right. It has a terrific clearcoat luster that pops when
the sunshine hits it. Not only does the paint look nice, but the
also the body is exceptionally straight and the chrome bumpers are
mirror-like. And as a Super Cheyenne, you get the cool vintage
wood-like trim running the full length of the sides and on the
tailgate insert. The overall look is a well-done truck that isn't
so over-done that people will accuse of having a trailer queen.
Instead you know this is the one that tows the trailer queens (and
it has the proper hitch to do it.) There's even a spray in bedliner
to help keep this long bed looking good while you pull real truck
duty.
There's plenty more blue inside as the exterior paint returns on
the door tops and dash, and now it's jointed by a tasteful aqua.
Plenty more wood like trim adds to the premium feeling, and the
whole truck was built for the right driver comfort. That's why you
have comfy cloth inserts in the seats and a removable cup holder
center armrest. The dash has a classic look, but you'll also see
nicely integrated upgrades, like the retro-style AM/FM digital
tuner w/aux input for your iPod, and the air conditioning sliders
are part of a modern Vintage Air setup. The wood-rimmed Grant GT
sports steering wheel goes nicely with the interior, and it gives
you a clear view to the full gauge package that includes a
tach.
The 350 cubic-inch V8 under the hood is a nice strong running motor
for this truck. Besides the added shine, it also has functional
upgrades, like an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor w/electric choke
and an HEI ignition. So this one loves to fire up readily and run
strong. The proper raised 4x4 suspension and two-speed transfer
case means this classic keeps going even when the pavement ends.
Plus, the power steering, a three-speed automatic transmission, and
power brakes with disc up front are great any time driving
features.
Complete with owner's manual and service manual, this is the
classic 4x4 that feels nice no matter if you're on or off the road.
So it has some great all-around appeal that you'll want to get your
hands on today. Call now!!!
