1970 Challenger R/T Convertible - all matching numbers 440 Magnum engine & transmission!
I bought this rare Mopar from a friend who cared for her since 1971. This is a fully documented survivor with it’s ORIGINAL BUILD SHEET (see pic). 1 of approx.163 with the factory 440 Magnum engine. 1 of 1 in F8 green & saddle interior in R/T convertible with 440 engine. This is a NUMBERS MATCHING ENGINE & TRANS. All gauges work as they should including the clock and original radio. In the trunk sits the original collapsible spare and jack. Power top works perfectly. She starts smoothly & runs/accelerates perfectly.
The Challenger just turned 100k miles and has been garaged it’s entire life. The original owner in 1970 sold it after 6 months due to the draft. He sold it to his buddy who was a terrific caretaker of his friends car from 1971-2018. The car went through a light restoration in the 90’s. There has been only one re-spray in its original F8 green. This is a stripe delete car. Under the hood you will find it’s original 440 Magnum V8. I have the original Rimblow steering wheel (can be restored). I also have original saddle color seating along with other original parts.
