Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this very original 1980 Chevrolet Chevette which is in fantastic survivor condition with low actual miles of 41,116. This Chevette is a one owner car and was pampered from new and comes with all the original dealer brochures and car manuals. The original window sticker comes with the car and is photographed above. This Chevette is completely rust free and has not have any rust repairs or metal repairs and shows no corrosion issues anywhere. There is no bubbling or cracked paint anywhere on this car. This Chevette features super nice paint with original trim and emblems, a beautiful original custom ordered interior, and the original complete drive line. This Chevette is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Light Camel Metallic over Black/Camel Custom Cloth interior. This is the factory color scheme as verified on the trim tag pictured above and the original window sticker. The low mileage is not only validated by the amazing original condition of this Scamp but also by the Ohio title pictured above stating the mileage as "Actual."
Exterior
The Camel exterior is in terrific overall condition. This Chevette has very nice paint which appears to be mostly original and it still shows very well. The paint is in great condition and has a terrific shine and is smooth to the touch and has a nice gloss. There are no signs of visible rust anywhere around the car or under this car. Both bumpers are in great overall condition and still have a nice shine and show no damage or dents. There may be some minor imperfections that are not noticeable in the photos, but noting was intentionally excluded from the photos. The tires have nearly full tread left and the factory wheels are in excellent overall shape with no curb rash and have a great shine. All weather stripping and window sweeps are original and in great condition. The hatch area and storage area compartment are both very solid and clean and the factory jack is in the stock position. The spare tire appears to have never been used and the hatch struts keep the hatch open with no issues. The underside of this car is honest and extremely solid and rust free, and has not had any touch ups. The appears to be some undercoating that was added when new to keep away corrosion and its worked well over the years.
Interior
The Black/Camel Custom Cloth interior of this Chevette is original and in superb condition. The seat covers are factory originals and in near perfect condition for their age with no major wear, stains, or seam splits. These are a rare factory option which I have not personally seen on a Chevette and really give this car an upgraded look. The carpet is original and looks very nice with no major stains, rips, or holes. The original dash is in excellent condition with no cracks or fading and the gauges are crisp and clear. The factory stereo looks and sounds great and everything works on it even the presets and thankfully the dash has not been cut for a modern stereo installation. The original door panels are in great condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The headliner is in like new condition. All interior lights and gauges work as they should including the cigarette lighter. The horn, stereo, wipers, indicator lights, warning buzzers, and blower motor all work.
Mechanical
This Chevette is in excellent mechanical condition with only 41,116 actual miles on the original drive line and drives like new. A new battery was installed recently and a new alternator was also added. The heater core was just replaced and the heater blows hot air. The starter was also replaced recently. We have driven this Chevette several times and it drives well, it does not run hot, rides great, and is a true joy to drive. There is no smoke when starting or driving the car. The brakes do not pull and stop as they should. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos. The engine bay appears very stock and unmolested. The exhaust appears stock and works as it should. This Chevette has been loved and meticulously cared for by its one owner and the overall near mint condition of the car validates that.
