For Sale: 1930 Ford Coupe in Mooresville, North Carolina

Vehicle Description

HIGHLIGHTS: With many street rods of the 1980s and 1990s beginning to look outdated as we enter the 2020s, someone has done this gorgeous black beauty the courtesy of keeping it up with the times! More importantly, that someone has owned this car for over 40 years straight. With a custom frame, coilovers, 4-link, A/c, new red interior, glossy black paint, and a slick set of chrome Centerline wheels this street rod is ready to ride through the '20s.

BODY OVERVIEW: The body on this Ford appears straight, and is all steel-no fiberglass panels! Everyone knows that black paint does a terrible job of hiding any imperfections, and this car has very few. Plus, the door handles have been shaved, the power antenna fully retracts into the body, and so does the gas cap! If you're in the market for a slick little street rod ready to hit the streets, look no further!

PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: The paint is not as new as the interior, but it was a job well done when new and has held up well! It still has a brilliant shine and plenty of depth, but you may find some light scratches here and there from repetitive cleaning over the years.

INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: The interior condition is on a level all of its own. Finished in 2018, this car has received a full custom, professionally crafted red leather interior. This is no two-bit DIY interior; this is nearly show-quality perfection. The seats are comfortable, and they look fantastic. Besides, what color would look better against gloss black paint?

MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: This is a turn-key vehicle that is ready to go. Driven regularly in fair weather by the current owner, the Chevy 350 springs to leave at a touch of the key. The engine bay is a pretty close second to the interior, with just enough chrome accents and a removable three-piece hood. The 350 V8 is a classic street rod choice, and this car is sure to impress anywhere you go.

WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: Definitely the interior! The car is gorgeous as a whole, but the fresh custom interior is the biggest eye-catcher of the whole build. If that doesn't do it for you, the full steel body ought to!

WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: While this is a well-built street rod, shaved door handles drive some people crazy. Just don't leave your keys in the car!

DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? Some of the interior gauges weren't wired up after the interior was finished.

WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? Street rodders everywhere we imagine! This is a classic black '30 Ford that has a slick look and is bound to seem familiar to anyone that sees it, even if they've never seen it before.
