For Sale: 1956 Dodge C100 in Concord, North Carolina

Vehicle Description

This is a lot of distinction for a very affordable price. After all, the vintage truck market is heating up with the mainstream Chevys and Fords, but when was the last time you saw a 1956 Dodge C100 pickup? With a cool matte look and a nice upgrade in power, you'll start to see they made all the right investments while leaving all the right vintage details.

This classic Job-Rated Dodge has been given some modern flair. The red oxide paint has that perfect mix of rat rod primer style, and at the same time, it has the matte look that's red-hot right now. So this one instantly fits in with both the vintage and new custom scenes. The 17-inch American Racing Torq Thrust wheels offer some nice contrasting polish and some street machine attitude. The same goes for the glossy black front bumper and grille. But this one never loses that workman attitude. And you see that everywhere from the classic badge up front to the real wood in the truck bed.

Inside is a clean and basic interior that has upgrades for driving. The recovered bench seat and rubber floor mats remind you of this Dodge's workman attitude. And the large vintage steering wheel and classic gauges continue the classic truck experience. But then you also spot some nice upgrades, like the switch for the electric fan next to the water temp gauges, and there's a large column-mounted tach.

Underneath the cool butterfly hood is an upgrade that's easy to spot. Mopar's hardy 318 cubic-inch V8 wasn't available when this truck came down the line, and so the bold blue engine is a terrific upgrade. Plus, it was enhanced with a bored .040 over kit, upgraded cam, and a Holley 600 CFM four-barrel carburetor. It's a great V8 that makes a great rumble out of the dual exhaust. The A727 Torqueflite three-speed automatic is a stout unit made even better by a rebuild in 2018. This feeds a rear end serviced in 2017. And there are more great upgrades, from the new $600 stainless gas tank to front disc brakes.

The sale comes complete with build receipts and restoration photos. As much as this will give the other vintage truck guys a truly unique competitor, and at this low price, we know there's a lot of interest surrounding this one. Call now!
