1970 El Camino, 350 motor with a four barrell Rochester, TH350 aut trans, power steering, power brakes, disc brakes, 12 bolt rear end, remote mirror, Rallye wheels. This is a rust free solid California car with its old black and gold plate. Straight body with a primer white finish. Originally this car was blue with a white top, I will include a picture from when it was almost new. There you see a thin white pinstripe, and also the cool cargo strap fasteners that are factory. The bumpers are shiny but have a few dents as shown. Grille and lights are good just like windows and mirrors. A fun detail is the black CA plate, they came out with blue in 1970. So this car must have been sold in late -69 and been here in CA all the time!
The upholstery is pretty new in blue velour, nice to sit on in hot CA. Door panels are brand new and nice with new window felt and roller mechanism. Headliner and carpet are good, the dash pad needs replaced, it has some cracks. Steering wheel and instruments are in typical driver condition, original and not cut up. The engine runs great, always starts right up, trans shifts well, power steering is perfect, one finger type, and the car is fun to drive. Runs good on the road and brakes well. No leaks. Tires are ok but not new. A bit of electric work: The fan won’t come on, neither will the horn, and it needs a few light bulbs.
Lots of new: Door panels, seat and window regulator, rear springs, front brakes, a lot of the front suspension, water pump and more.
Here is a chance to own a great driving solid El Camino and use the way it is, or do cosmetics as you go, for less that 9 grand!
