Recently purchased by us from its long-term owner this is a nice, driver quality 57 Chevy 2 door sedan. Finished in a pleasing silver with white top this Chevy has been completed for a long time and still presents itself as a car that can cruise till your hearts content and be quite happy at a local show. Everything on this car is what can best be termed "serviceable". When our previous owner did the restoration, about 15 to 20 years ago, he was looking to end up with a car he could cruise and be proud of- we think he did that quite nicely.

Motivated down the road by a Chevy 283 backed by a power glide the drivetrain in this car maintains its loyalty to its original look, appearance and driving characteristics. The interior is quite stock in appearance as well finished in a black, white and silver combination that compliments the exterior quite nicely. All of the chrome is serviceable and is of the same general character of the car.

When you look at the photos you will see a car that was lovingly restored but not done to a level of perfection. The underside benefited from new metal and the frame is very solid. When you get to the areas of the inner rockers the photos show that the work was done to be serviceable and correct. If you are looking for a pristine 57 Chevy, then we will simply say this is not the right car for you- nor is it priced at the 45-60K those types of cars can command. If you are looking for a nice driver quality 57 that you can own, perhaps spruce up a bit, and just enjoy the heck out of at a reasonable budget you may have just found your next classic.
