1978 Dodge 'Lil Red Express' Truck 1978 Dodge Lil Red Express truck. These trucks in 1978 were the fastest American production vehicles. Look it up on line yourself! This truck has just had the original 360 V8 4 barrel Interceptor engine rebuilt by Duffin Engine Works. Runs strong! All new milled Red Oak wood installed and decals. The original body is in very nice shape. Had a few small area's of rust repair done. Its not a high end show truck, but rather a good looking driver. The original interior is pretty nice too! Runs and drives, but has mostly been sitting for the last few years. So, will need a tune-up etc. The wood bed floor needs replacing. The pre-cut kit is about $800. Its running currently off a small 5 gallon tank. The original needs cleaning and new hoses run. The truck is a small project, but well worth it.
